William John 'Bill' Beltinck, aged 70, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Michigan. He was welcomed into the family by his elder siblings, Julie, Richard, and Martha, and later welcomed his younger sisters, Rosemary, Elizabeth, Teresa, Katherine, and Patricia.
Bill graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1972, maintaining a proud relationship with the school and its history. He moved to Ann Arbor, where he worked as a loan officer for the University of Michigan, before returning to Mt. Pleasant to work for Giantway. Pleasant, Martha (Daniel) Clare of Portland, Rosemary (Andrew) Whitlock of Pennsylvania, Teresa (Dirk) Powell of DeWitt, Katherine (Doug) Wiora of Mt. Pleasant, and Patricia Beltinck of Mt. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Beltinck; sister, Elizabeth Beltinck; and paternal grandparents, Romia and Edith Beltinck; maternal grandparents, Edwin and Lottie Banker.
A Funeral Mass for Bill will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was a lifelong member. Father Matt Gembrowski will preside. Cremation will follow.
