William Lee Fox

Bill Fox, 54, of Weidman passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 19, at St. Joseph The Worker Church in Beal City with Father Thomas J. McNamara presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd and will continue in the gathering room of the church on Friday, one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph The Worker School or to the wishes of the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bill was born July 25, 1954, in Charleston, WV. He was adopted at the age of six by the late Edward and Agnes (Breuer) Fox. He graduated from Chippewa Hills High School and at one time worked for a construction company building log homes. Bill is survived by three children, Jamie (Robert) Jelsma of Grand Rapids, Edward Fox of Grand Rapids, and Valerie Fox of Greensboro, NC; nine grandchildren, Laticia, Monica, Antonio, Marqus, Jordan, Victoria, Gavin, Trenton, and Maya; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Agnes in 2007; his father, Edward in 2008; and his brother, Robert.
