William Joseph Jankowski

William Joseph Jankowski, age 75, of Barryton passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at home.

William was born to Joseph Edward and Dorothy Katherine (Kawa) Jankowski on November 4, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. He was raised in the Detroit area. On October 5, 1963 Bill married the love of his life, Gail Kathleen George. Bill owned and operated Jankowski Small Engine Repair Shop in Barryton.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bill loved sharing Bible truth's and hope the Bible holds out of the resurrection to earth Jehovah God originally purposed us to live. A few of Bill's hobbies were repairing small engines at his repair shop in Barryton; along with returning home with a random wild flower growing in their yard that he would pick for his loving wife Gail.

Bill is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter, Diana Lynn (Joseph) Grim, daughter-in-law, Iva Decker; mother, Dorothy; 1 sister, Ann Marie; 4 brothers, George, Robert, Leslie & Ronnie.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; son Timothy James; brother, John.

A memorial service in William's honor will be held at the Remus Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 14550 30 ^th Ave, Remus, Michigan on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Jeff Galla officiating.

The family has entrusted arrangements to Maier Family Funeral Home in Weidman 989-644-5000.
