William was born March 23, 1935, in Lansing, Michigan, son of the late Marcus and Beatrice (Fedewa) Pasche. A graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lansing, William married Marian Joan Warner on October 22, 1955, in Charlevoix, and together they shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. William and Marian built a beautiful life together and raised their family of six sons with love and devotion.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marian; his sons, Michael (Deborah) of Mt. Pleasant, Daniel (Celina) of Boiling Springs, PA, Mark (Linda) of Clemmons, NC, Thomas (Janet) of Mt. Pleasant, and Brian (Jenny) of Midland; his siblings, Father Fred Pasche, Gary (Carlene) Pasche, and Janet Gleason; his beloved grandchildren, Sarah, Lauren (Kyle) Baker, Steven, Shonica, William, Joseph, Jamie (Matthew) Sawade, Kristin (Jack) Frontczak, Joshua, Madison, Maxwell, Hannah, and Hailey; and his wonderful great-grandchildren, Logan, Alyvia and Brynn McIvor, Justin and Kylie Sawade, Nora and Ruby Leto, Ben and Josie Baker, Eddie and Marian Pasche, Paige and Allison Frontczak and Cora Pasche. William was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Marcus; son James; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty; sister, Alice Backland; and two brothers-in-law, Gene Backland and Erl Gleason.

William had a long and successful career with Aunt Millie's, where he served as Senior Vice President of sales. He was respected for his dedication, leadership, and commitment to his work. His career was an important part of his life, and he took pride in the work he accomplished and the relationships he built along the way. William will be remembered for his strong faith, wonderful sense of humor, friendliness, work ethic, and deep love of family. He had a way of making people feel welcome and could bring a smile to those around him with his humor and warm personality. You could often find him at the Diner with his friends, solving the world’s problems.

William was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and an avid supporter of Sacred Heart athletics, serving as past president of the athletic association. He enjoyed golfing with his brothers and sons at The Pines, and looked forward to the annual Pasche Golf Outing. His family and friends were the center of his world, and he cherished the many memories they created together over the years. As a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, William offered love, wisdom, guidance, and a steady presence that his family could always count on. He took great pride in his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. His presence, love, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

William's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 11, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow at Lincoln Reception Center. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Academy Foundation in William's memory.

The family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, hospice team, and caregivers at McLaren and the Medical Care Facility for the compassionate care and kindness they provided to William.
