Yvonne Florence Grover

Yvonne Grover, 90, of Howell, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. 

Born at home in Fowlerville to Joe and Mary McKnight, Yvonne was known for her warm heart, generosity, and love of being around people. 

She enjoyed bowling, cards, playing pool, and spending time with friends through the Howell Bowling Alley, the American Legion, and the Eagles. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Grover and Karen (Jim) Holton; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Yvonne will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville alongside her father. Family and friends will gather in June for a celebration of her life.

She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the friendships she nurtured throughout her life.

In lieu of services, the family invites those who knew Yvonne to honor her memory by sharing stories, laughter, and acts of kindness, just as she did throughout her life.
